Tues., 26 Quite warm & still moderating. Letter from Hattie. Henry & Bob fill the ice house. Benjamin gets an ugly cut in his forehead from an ice spade. Grace out school. I can just get about & feel extra miserable.

Sun., 24 A service in our church. Blue fish for dinner. The whole family down with the distemper. Write to Maria. The Youngs make it lively for a short time at night.

Thurs., 23 Do a little writing, a little mending, &tc. Attend the prayer meeting with 3 children. Sit with the prudential committee to examine candidates for Baptism. Benjamin, Henrietta & 6 others taken into the church. A good meeting. Tuttle at home in evening. Henry attends the fish & game league, in Burlington.

Drive up to Woodman’s for pills & painkiller. Make cake P.M. & after a nap mend in the evening. Anna quite sick. Ollie’s wedding cards, & a letter from Aunt Frank.
