September 12, 1899 & 1918

1899:  Tues 12  Send Ruth a pair of good shears for her birthday.

 

1918:  Thurs., 12  Cloudy & chill.  Iron.  Ruth & I finish it.  Attend Chapter meeting with Mrs. Graves.  The State Regent present & talks to us.  I hope they all like her.  I cannot help it, for she is likable (sic).
