November 22, 1924

Sat., 22  Make pies for to-morrow. Mend, work on rug, etc. Rains all day. A much needed rain after a dry spell which prevented the farmers from doing their fall plowing.

My mother’s baking day was also Saturday–usually a cake for Sunday dinner.
