Fri., 12  Finish Gertrude’s dress. Grace works on her plants & flower baskets. Kate Dalrymple comes in the evening & we talk over the latest church news, which probably means the closing of the church. “Stubby” Holcomb hangs a storm door on the south verandah. I wash flannels & shrink gingham, Mend, etc.
