January 17, 1926

Sun., 17  Raw south wind packing the snow & leaving bare ground in places. Grace attends church, also Henrietta & her mother Field. They go home to dinner & we are very quiet at the house. Look over the papers & write the Bulletin to 6 absent children. The day passes so quickly there is no time to pause. It looks long in the morning but it’s really too short to waste a minute in idleness.  Get a sermon from the Reformed church at Albany.
