January 21, 1926

Thurs., 21  Clouds & snow. Finish the ironing. Finish typing my “experiment.” Grace goes down town toward night & comes home to supper. Goes back in the evening. Letter from Anna. Shirley has measles. Letter from Jeanette. Virginia has a cough which may be whooping cough.

And little Shirley just had whooping cough. What did Grace do down town, I wonder?
