March 12, 1926

Fri., 12   Another gorgeous day after a cold night. Dumas cleans Ruth’s room & works downstairs after dinner. Cards from the Frank Pierces & Esther Bault whose father has just died. She is planning to come here next week. Letters from Ben & Anna & Gertrude. Many birds come for the food we scatter & crows come continuously from the south. Pearl & Grace Fisher have supper with us & Kate Dalrymple brings up the missionary boxes. A frost storm this morning & everything coated. A wonderful, gorgeous white world.
