March 15, 1926

Mon., 15  Clouds & raw south wind. Send Ben’s papers. Letter from Ruth. Move wood. 4 foot birch & maple. Type letters to Liberty. Fighting a cold that has settled on my lungs & feel quite wretched. Darkness & storms comes with the settling down of night. It makes one feel cosy (sic) and glad of a shelter.
