March 23, 1926

Tues., 23  Dumas finishes Helen’s room, finishes the ironing & cleans in the kitchen. I finish Grace’s blue dress. She has the epidemic cold & will not admit it. Letter from Helen.

and added later:  This is the day Walter was electrocuted at Montour Falls, N.Y. at 3-30 P.M.

Walter was the son of Gertrude and her husband. They lived in Michigan.  There is a reference to this event in the posting for March 4, 1924, but the remembered date was incorrect.
