Sat., 15  Baked beans & brown bread for dinner–a great luxury with us. Also our first rhubarb pie from the garden, which is good as usual. Taking yeast, about 3 weeks of it, which seems beneficial. Letter from Hattie. Wash 2 pieces of heavy underwear. Henrietta spends the day in Middlebury. Letter from Mrs. Coolidge which I answer, also write the Poetry Review & Lyric West.
