June 16, 1926

Wed., 16  A very beautiful day after the rain. I wash up the curtains & doilies. Attend the D.A.R. meeting at the Brownell’s. Grace cannot go because of customers. She sends flowers which Mrs. Brownell appreciates. Mrs. Stuart, ex-State Regent, & the present State Regent, Mrs. Kittridge, are present & talk to us, of course I cannot hear what they say. A very pleasant meeting. Dr. Collins & daughter & Miss Chapman call. Write Mrs. Hinton (Caroline) Pay Dr. Phelps $10.63. Cut a dress for Grace.
