Tues., 22 Clouds, fog & some rain in the morning, but we start for St. Albans. Grace cannot leave, but Karl, Henrietta & Warner meet us at the corner & Karl does most of the driving. Find Ben’s family well established in pleasant quarters, have a good dinner. Karl takes me out to see Ella Tullar for a few minutes & we start for home. The day has come off fine. We make two detours to reach Burlington. Dumas washes. Letters from Ruth & Anna also Jeanette’s last week’s letter, which did not come before.
