July 8, 1926

Thurs., 8  Dumas finishes the ironing & works in the cellar. I do very little. Finish & press Grace’s pink dress. She comes home in time for supper & sends a beautiful boquet (sic) to the Eagans. The garden is lovely now & the roses at their best. Showers at night.
