June 9, 1926

Fri., 9  So much rain that Tuttle does not go to Burlington for his treatment. Karl & Henrietta go in their car. Mend stockings, stockings. (sic) Letter from Ben. Grace goes to the Grange meeting in the evening & gives a talk on cleaning up and beautifying unslightly places & country school houses. Rena Colby comes for flowers. Clean up odds & ends in the pantry, which takes time never to be accounted for.
