August 16, 1926

Mon., 16  Quite a little rain. Damp & cloudy. Send Ben’s papers. Letters to Cora & Mrs. Coolidge who is a widow now, and Gertrude & Anna. Letter from Jeanette, which I answer. Finish up in the fruit cellar, find that I have 269 cans all told. Sew a little. Mildred Griffis calls to show me her lovely baby 6 months old. Grace goes down town.
