Fri., 3  A very beautiful day. Air keen from the north. Helen goes to New Britain on the noon train. Bull pouts for dinner. Not feeling very strong. Work on the balsam in the afternoon. Do most of the ironing. Henrietta & Ruth go out to Ben’s. Letters from Anna, Gertrude & Carrie. Grace goes down town. She makes a funeral piece. She starts the ice cream.
