Tues., 14  Dumas washes. Keep on picking up. Start in on Grace’s blue silk, which is to be made into a new dress. O!!!  Letters from Helen & Anna. The Springfield schools are still closed on account of polio. Pray that it might not become epidemic. We go and vote, Grace, Tuttle & I. Onslow finishes the currant bushes. 2 hours. Make a lemon pie.
