October 7, 1926

Thurs., 7   A rainy morning. Go with Tuttle to the bus at 8 o’clock & go to Burlington. Bus full. Mr. & Mrs. George E. Stone go up. Take a taxi to Helen’s. After dinner we go to a Movie & get lost in the play. Mr. & Mrs. Stone go to the play. Buy me a hat & some underwear. Helen & I visit until bed time. Did not sleep last night except for short snatches toward morning. Abe in Boston. Growing cool.
