October 21, 1926

Thurs., 21  Dumas irons & washes windows—storm windows—for the carpenter to put up. Make quince marmalade.  J.M. Agar, probably a Jew, sells me linoleum to cover the kitchen floor. Of course, I am “Jewish.” Grace attends a church meeting & stays with Sue Booth. Several inches of snow on the ground this morning which does not melt off.
