Tues., 2  Rain. Election, which is quite exciting & calls out all intelligent voters. John E. Weeks is elected governor over Comings, who has been urging the Republicans who voted for Weeks in the primaries to vote for him. We rejoice that he did not get it. Dumas is in Bristol today & we do not wash this week.
