February 16, 1929

Sat., 16  Sunshine so warm in the afternoon that I sit on the porch & sew until I get tired. Grace goes down & carries flowers to Mrs. Mueller. Mrs. Thompson died this morning at 3 o’clock. Do up the work & study poetry all the time I get after dinner. Letters from Helen & Gertrude.
