March 11, 1929

Mon., 11   Grey. Sort Sunday papers. Pack 2 crates of eggs, one for Ruth & one for Anna. Feel quite a little discouragement, physically & otherwise. One cannot always live upon the mountain top. Letters from Ruth & Ben. Get the morning devotions. Send a ballot (or ballad) to Cheerio. Grace goes down with her flowers, brings me Zephine Humphrey’s latest “Chrisolis” (sic) from the library.
