April 3, 1929

Wed., 3  Morning devotions. Karl, Henrietta & Warner come to dinner. Ruth, Henrietta & I attend a D.A.R. meeting at Gussie Norton’s. Grace does not go. I enjoy it very much. We go in Norton’s car as Tuttle went to Middlebury this afternoon. Grace & Henrietta attend a banquet at the M.E. church in the evening, where Grace is to sing. Karl & Warner attend a Movie. Letter from the Ludlow lawyers which I intercept & send on to Helen.

Another mystery:  the “Ludlow Lawyers.”
