May 2, 1929

Thurs., 2  Morning devotions. Dumas cleans Tuttle’s room & a lot of other work. Mrs. Herrick comes after me, takes in Mrs. Thoim (?) & Mrs. Hager & we attend a meeting of Rhoda Ferrand Chapter in Addison. They have a nice program & very dainty repeshments. A very friendly & successful gathering. We go home in a rain storm. Grace cannot leave her garden work to go. Still going to bed in Helen’s room. Letters from Hattie & Ruth.
