May 9, 1929

Thurs., 9  Mother’s birthday. Morning devotions. Washing out things. Dumas washes. Grace & Howard go to the Winterbotham place. I clean silver & a little in the pantry. Sharp showers during the day. D.A.R. meeting at Frank Warner’s. I do not go. Get an increase of pension $10 more per month dating from Feb. 13. I have been careless in putting it down, but guess it comes in here.
