May 15, 1929

Wed., 15  Morning devotions which begins with rain and turns into a lovely sunny afternoon. Grace & Henrietta go to Burlington. Grace is ready at 6-30 & Tuttle takes her out to the Booth corner. A very good day. Mend a little. Eat our first rhubarb pie. Strawberry shortcake for supper. Mrs. Patterson calls. Grace comes at 5-30 & makes a funeral piece. Blue dress trimmed with white comes through the mail from Gertrude which I get into & wear until bedtime.
