May 18, 1929 & Grace in the garden

Sat., 18  Morning devotions. which I get by eating breakfast at the same time, as I am late this morning. Finish Gertrude’s dress so I can wear it. Tuttle gives me a ride after dinner. Karl comes up to wash his car, & Henrietta makes a little visit while she works on her parlor curtains. A lovely day. The garden is very beautiful. Letter from Gertrude.
