May 23, 1929

Thurs., 23  Morning devotions. Dumas cleans front room—finds a corner of the best rug eaten by something. Washes dishes all up together after dinner & does the ironing. Letter from Anna. Mrs. Muellier & Mary Goodale come up & stay quite a long time. Mrs. Chapman comes & gives Grace a good order. Grace attends a supper at the church. Am still being careful but much better.
