Wed., 14  Morning devotions. Letters from Jeanette & Anna. Grace goes down town after dinner & gets into a tea party at Mary Ross.’  I make 2 pies in the afternoon. Book-of-the-Month comes, entitled, “The Omnibus of Crime.”  Clouds. Dark early tonight. Send Ralph some pictures of the garden & myself acoording to promise when I was here. (there?)
