October 4, 1929

Fri., 4  We start for Burlington at 8 o’clock with Helen. Call on Henrietta at Mary Fletcher. Find her comfortable. Leave Helen at Mrs. Bailey’s & Grace at the Hospital. Tuttle & I get home at 10-10. I put up 10 cans (pts) of mustard & pepper relish, get dinner and wash up all the utensils, etc. Work a little on Chapter history. (D.A.R.)  Grace comes at 6 P.M. She gets me a new handbag & a lamp shade for the antique lamp Tuttle brought from his office. Letters from Anna & Gertrude. Write Hattie.
