October 15, 1929

Tues., 15  Morning devotions.  Dumas washes & cleans Grace’s room. She irons. She’s not feeling well. Karl cuts the head off a hen that some one struck with their car. I clean & cook it. Also made grape marmalade. Night & bedtime finds it cooking, but not put up, which I will do sometime to-morrow. Grace goes down town in the evening. A beautiful sunset.
