Fri., 18  Morning devotions.  Pack pears for Ruth & Helen. Henrietta comes to dinner. Mr. Morgan sells me a steamer to be delivered later. Pare some pears to can. Mr. & Mrs. Birkett come to see me about a diet cure. Mrs. Chatterton makes a call. Tuttle comes home with a warm car. I go for a little ride & we take her home. Grace goes to a card party at Brownell’s.
