October 24, 1929

Thurs., 24  Morning devotions.  Do up the work, make an apple pie & get an early dinner. Letter from Caroline. Tuttle & I go to St. Albans after dinner. Grace does not go. It rains quite a little on the way up, and some more on the way back. Find every one well & have a little visit. They have cut little Ann’s curly hair & improved her looks thereby. Get home nearly dark. Almost no rain here.
