October 30, 1929

Wed., 30  Morning devotions.  Work in the carpet rags. Miss           (the blank sic)  the home demonstration agent comes at noon. We invite her to dinner. After dinner we have about 2 pleasant hours in which she makes jelly,  jam and marmalade. She goes from here to Middlebury. No letters.

I find it amusing that the home dem agent was, I assume, demonstrating jelly, jam and marmalade making to Ella!
