December 26, 1929

Thurs., 26 No devotions this morning, but Sorrell & Billy Strong look the rooms over to appraise the damage. Sorrell begins work in the hall & Ben’s room. Howard & Dumas working. I go downstairs to supper. Helen goes to Burlington to see Mrs. Mayo. She has a hard trip. Dr. Phelps comes, brings me a bottle of wine.
