Mon., Jan. 11   Morning devotions.  Miss Hallock comes to sew. Goes after dinner. Dumas comes at 1 o’clock & finishes some sweeping & goes over the down stairs. Letters from Ben, Anna, Ruth  and Helen. Bale of goods from N.Y. that Ruth bought. 4 sheets, 20 yds crash, 10 yds. bleached cotton & 2 cotton dresses. Write Anna. Letter from Washington requesting credentials for the Penwomen’s League, which I get ready for the mail  See my mockingbird.  Grace attends the Forest and Field Club.
