Tues., 16  Mansfield visible. Morning devotions. A beautiful day after a cold morning. Dumas washes & does some ironing. Wash the morning dishes & get dinner. The bird comes morning & noon. Card from No. Montpelier. The next writers meeting at Fleming Museum, Burlington, March 10. Mrs. Strong & Benton call to see the bird, but the bird is too shy to come while they are here. Type on poems. Grace goes to the “As-You-Like-It.”
