He died this morning at 3.30 o’clock. the three children are down with scarlet fever. The house is quarrantined (sic) & the girls do not go in. Mrs. Strong & Mary Stone see the “bird” feed on the porch. Warmer. Snow gone. Letters from Ben & Helen, which I answer. Grace & Henrietta attend the Botany class at the Library in the evening.
