Wed., 2  Morning devotions. Clouds. Warmer. Dumas washes, etc. Make a squash pie. Wash the morning dishes & get dinner. Write Mr. Otis about the tree trimming. Attend the D.A.R. at Marie Warner’s. Rhoda Ferrand chapter meet with us. A very pleasant meeting and a pleasant time at the table, where a birthday cake with lighted candles is brought in honor of Nancy McCuen’s birthday. Another is brought to Gussie Norton. This is the last Chapter meeting for her, as State Regent. “Brownie” Newton brings us home. Letter from Cousin Fay.
