March 17, 1932

Thurs., 17   No 2   Morning devotions.  A beautiful night’s sleep. Make 2 mince pies. Clouds. A flurry of snow last night, lost in the stubble. Letter from Stanton Muzzy regarding his forthcoming book. Karl & Henrietta call. I do a lot of ironing. Henrietta says there’s a lot of diptheria & scarlet fever in town. Karl fills up the wood box. Write to Arthur Durand’s family. Grace goes to the church supper.
