April 1, 1932

Fri., 1  No 2    Morning devotions.  Snowing & everything white & clean. The sun comes out & the snow vanishes. Make a custard pie which cooks too long.  O dear!  Letter from Anna. Muzzy’s book comes out. It is called “Poems from the heart of Vermont,” and is a collection of Vermont poetry.  Wrap Helen’s books. Keep the one on Plymouth. Ruth takes me out to N.H. Junction. She calls on Ethel. I sit in the car. Write a “Thank you” letter to Hindley.
