Sat., 9  Morning devotions.  Dumas doing the work. Make a custard pie & get dinner. We clean the dish cupboard & dining room closet. Letter from Hattie. Write Susan Parker & “Uncle Bill,” who has been bedridden for 5 years. The bird still sings on the bough & still comes to feed.
