April 14, 1932

Thurs., 14  Morning devotions.  Cloudy. Make an apple pie. Letter from Anna which I answer. Put away clothes. The cat is much better. Grace goes to Burlington to give a garden talk. Mrs. Brown comes in for a little visit. The mockingbird is not visible until nearly night. Wrap a copy of “Green Mt. Echoes” for Walter Coates to be used as a prize for poems in his Driftwind.
