Tues., 19  Morning devotions. Make a mince pie & get dinner. Do not feel lively so I am keeping quiet. Dumas does the work & cleans 2 chambers, also makes curtains. Send MS. “Homeward” to Macmillan. Mend a little.

 

I suspect the manuscript is for the book that was called “Homeland in the North,” eventually published in 1936 by the Driftwind Press.
