April 23, 1932

Sat., 23  No morning devotions. Another day of sunshine. The bird still here. Dumas cleans the attic. I do not go up. Make a cherry pie for to-morrow’s dinner. Charlie Ruscoe fits a screen door onto the back porch. He has dinner with us. Finish sorting the kitchen window. Instead of the devotions a celebration at Stratford on Avon. A Shakespeare memorial is unveiled & broadcast from there. This is Warner Farm Day some 2000 people here & 800 to be fed.
