May 10, 1932

Tues., 10  Morning devotions.  Dumas washes & gets in the clothes. A good day & we really get the long delayed trip to St. Albans. Henrietta goes with us but Grace spends the day laying out a garden in Burlington. We go to Ben’s barn & see his chickens, between 500 & 600 of them. Have a little visit with them & get home a little after 5 o’clock. A lovely trip. Howard takes off the storm windows. Letter from Saratoga.
