Sat., 14  Morning devotions. Sunshine hazy. Have the doors open. Make a first rhubarb pie of the season & a custard pie for dinner. Ben & son come late, just as I am clearing the food away. Letters from Ruth & Gertrude. Just do the housework. That is all.
