Wed., 18  Morning devotions.  Grace returns the dainty bedspread Ruth selected because I cannot afford to have it.  Poor, poor Ruth!  Write Helen. Clean 2 upper pantry sleves. Sew a little but my finger will not keep a thimble on. Write “Aunt Jennie” Burke. Bertha Lewis comes for Grace & takes her up to Mt. Philo. Have a caller in the little girl next door. Seems a nice child.
