May 21, 1932

Sat., 21  Morning devotions.  A gentle rain in the morning & several showers during the day. Dumas helping. Make a rhubarb pie. Otis has dinner with us. Clean & cook a chicken. Letters from Helen, Gertrude & Anna. Ruth sends me her lovely crystal necklace which I shall put away & keep for her when she comes home. Poor, poor Ruth! Claribel Marshall Clark calls to sew on a  button. Henrietta calls.
