May 27, 1932

Fri., 27  Morning devotions.  Make a tapioca pudding & have a lot of trouble. Get a dinner of pulse, that is beets & dandelions. Get a ride to Ethel’s & run in to see her a minute. She came from the Hospital Sunday, is in bed but has the prospect of better health as time goes on. Tuttle goes to Burlington & comes home in a new Packard. I get another ride to No. Ferrisburg at night Grace goes to the Lake & is busy all day (punctuation sic)  A thunder shower & a deluge of rain. Letter from Ben, which I answer.
